Easy installation, good fit, seems rock solid. I found it easier to remove the entire interior panel of the JL’s tailgate for drilling. Felt like it was easier to align everything while it was flat on my workbench.

Lead time of 1-10 days. Got it in 5. Easy to assemble and install. Very pleasantly surprised at the gauge and weight of product. With that being said, the price point seems fair.

This has made for a nice addition to my Bronco adding a high quality **QUIET!!**metal table and molle panel. I highly recommend having the installation video handy as well as some Loctite for the final mounting screws. Just follow the step by step instructions on the video and you will be fine. The final step of adding the flat tabletop can be a bit frustrating but the video helped with that as well.
This is the second part I have purchased from JCR and I am thrilled with the quality of workmanship.

Nut strips arrived in a timely fashion. Staff was very helpful. Quality was excellent and the extra cost Is justified by the high-quality. It gives me just a little more confidence in the hitch attachment on my XJ. I have a high recommendation for this staff and their product

After watching countless videos on the installation and comments on various manufacturers rear bumpers, the clear choice for me was JCR. It's not the least expensive, but their engineering and design are clear and well executed. The finished product is a nice heavy bumper that will easily support the Rear Tire Swing Arm I am adding.
Though the Installation Video is helpful, the thing that is missing in print and in the video is a Parts List that tells you which fasteners go where. It comes with two bags of fasteners with JCR part numbers, and a description of the fasteners inside, but there is no indication of where they are to be used. Thankfully, the 1/2" bolts would not fit in the side brackets, so by the process of elimination, the 7/16" bolts were used. After watching the video countless times, I could finally see that it was indeed the 7/16" bolts used there.
I have mounted the bumper, but not tightened everything up yet as I need to expand the holes for the left bracket to properly center the bumper left to right.
I still have unused 1/2" fasteners and at the moment am unsure of where they are to be used.
Thankfully, the Swing Arm kit comes with a nine page set of instruction with images. The bumper needs the same detail.

This came very well packaged in fitted foam so no shipping damage! Only installation slow down was finding the right socket head for factory bolts and then getting to the farthest end bolts under fender. Took an extra hand to push in the fender to get to those. Everything fit perfect and it looks great! No problem with front camera!

Is this the most affordable bumper on the market? Certainly not.
Is it the lightest? Not even close.
Do you probably need it? Questionable.
Will this bumper still be left looking brand new after you run out of talent on a 9 rated trail and total the rest of your Jeep?
More than likely.
Just buy it. This bumper is the most structurally sound part of any XJ it’s bolted to. You’re more likely to have your unibody separate into multiple pieces than to ever do any appreciable damage to this thing.
When I was cutting my fenders for my Notch flares, I got the cutoff wheel a bit too close to the bumper and the bumper won. 10/10 would buy again.

If you’re looking for increased storage space that looks excellent, this is the basket for you (seriously, it’s a lot better than the OEM plastic). If you’re looking for a nightmare install that is more difficult than welding in coilover and performing a one-ton swap, the locking mechanism and design is for you. To make the lock even better, there is a pretty good chance you will have it immediately fail on the first use. Instead of dealing with JCR with a replacement lock, I opted to painstakingly remove the entire lock interface and put it where it belongs, the trash.
