Q Sam Thomas • 06/10/2020, 7:06:58 PM Does this adapter bolt to the stock tire carrier?
A 06/16/2020, 9:57:53 AM No it does not.
Q Zachary Grieves • 07/01/2020, 4:27:45 PM Would this adaptor mount to the top of the JT half bed rack? I’m looking to mount my spare on top of it.
A 07/07/2020, 2:10:54 PM Yes, but you would need to mount that to VRKACM-PC (https://www.jcroffroad.com/product/VRKACM-PC.html) and space your bars correctly.
Q Pat Ferry • 07/04/2020, 6:51:44 AM Does this mount to your adventure carrier?
A 07/07/2020, 2:10:54 PM Yes
Q David Garrett • 07/14/2020, 10:11:10 AM Can this hold a 38” tire mounted on a 24x14 wheel?
A 07/15/2020, 12:39:23 PM These mounts are designed for a wheel mount surface to tire sidewall distance of 5 - 8"=. The tire needs to be tight against the carrier once installed. As long as your wheel backspacing and tire sidewall will accommodate that, then yes. One thing is a wheel and tire that wide will add extra leverage to the whole system. You may need to frequently check bolt torque and any fatigue.

I have one on my roof rack and then bought a second one when I built my swing out tire carrier for my truck. Strong and dependable. mfox0109
