Hand built in the USA!
Worked like a charm. Getting the old stuff out was a bit challenging but I got it done with out too much fuss. These are highly recommended if you're running an after market bumper with towing capabilities. Thanks again JCR for well built products.
Holes were all in the right spots, they came powder coated, and these made it way easier to install my gas tank skid.
2 of the nuts on each side are spinning freely and almost immediately with very little torque applied to them. The strips would not lay flat so as soon as a bolt got cock-eyed they started spinning, but I hardly put any torque on them before they started spinning. I was extremely disappointed. I was able to back the nuts out fortunately, but now I only have two bolts on each side holding my bumper. ============ JcrOffroad Reply: This is due to defective hardware and not reflective of this products design. This product is much thicker than the oem nut strips but misses the mark on several key points. Firstly they chose to use SAE fasteners instead of metric. For my expedition rig saving from carrying metric and american fasteners means more space for other spares. Why they didn't use 18mm bolts instead of SAE fasteners must have been for cost savings. These nutstrips also have one less bolt on the end that the OEM nutstrips, which helps to locate it within the frame rail and add another bolt for strength. I returned these strips and have used the oem nutsrips instead which JCR provided me a full refund for which I greatly respect them. I'll keep buying from jcroffroad but would prefer that they sold their products with metric instead of american as that is how all of our vehicles are put together. For reference my vehicle is a 1999 Cherokee XJ that didn't come with the tow package and therefore lacked the passenger side nutstrip.
I had the older style first with the nuts welded to it. It was great as long as the nuts were perfectly centered before welding. I broke one when I was installing and talked to JCR. They took care of my problem and sent me these. I didn't realize the design was improved until I open the box to some beefy goodness. Great products with long lasting quality!.
