Q Jeff King • 09/29/2022, 4:26:21 PM What's the maximum bike tire width that it can support? I have a Bakcou Mule w/ the thick maxxis tires.
A 10/11/2022, 4:57:12 PM The tray is 3" at the top, 2" at the base. We've had 4.7's in them without issue, they just kind of rest on top with the strap securing them.
Q Chris • 03/01/2023, 9:10:46 AM If I put a bike mounts on both sides of the rack can I still put traction boards mounts on both side as well? Or is there not enough room for both?
A 03/13/2023, 4:14:43 PM In our experience, the traction boards hit the bike's cranks and rear derailleur (driver side) if you try and run them together.
Q Jonathan Shaw • 03/01/2023, 6:57:27 PM I have two e-Bikes.... Once I remove the battery and front tire, the weight goes down to 58lbs..... Will your Bed Rack Bike Mount support that weight....on both sides.....58lbs....per side?? I ordered a full rack and waiting to receive it. Just curious and wanting the know the answer. Thank you for your time....
A 03/13/2023, 4:14:43 PM When we tried to mount a 50lb ebike on them, we weren't confident in the rigidity. Also, lifting a 50lb ebike on them was not fun at all. We'd stick with a hitch rack for e-bikes.

A 01/23/2024, 4:47:14 PM That depends on the length of the boards that you are using, but you'd like have clearance issues running standard length Maxtrax on the same side as your bike.
