Really Nice!
(AZ) | October 24th, 2019
This is my first experience with aftermarket inner liners and I will say these are really nice. I used some matte red plastidip to coat the mesh behind the log and it really looks great. It covers all the important bits so they won't get damaged. The pictures are spot on on how it will look, I have a black jeep so the gaps looks a bit less. I was hoping for a more factory finish look with tighter gaps and a closer following of the lines, but having never used aftermarket liners before I don't think I had realistic expectations. Great product for the price. if they hugged the contours and had provided a factory finish look it would of gotten 5 stars.
Great Product - TRE's hard to find

I like the steering setup. I have no "dead spots" in the steering and there's no need for a stabilizer. I greatly prefer this setup to something with heim joints for safety reasons. I've lost a little bit of right hand steering due to clearance on the track bar bolt, but that has not been an issue. I did have a tie rod boot rip (not sure how) and I've been unable to find a replacement boot. Moog parts which correspond to JCR's part numbers in the instructions are not identical products and will require me to completely pull apart the steering, reinstall, and reallign. Moog parts appear to be of higher quality and are cheaper than buying the entire replacement set from JCR. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the setup.

Really nice material strong for off-road only issue I had was the hole for the middle bolt was no lined up so it wouldn't thread through other than that good produck

So far I love how heavy duty these are the protection the seam to offer. They go pretty far out and high which is great for protection "bad for drag". The directions say push up against the uni-rail up to the xj floor, but I would leave a gap from the floor. Not sure if if it's my XJ or the rail design but the sliders stick out more on the front than on the back end, on both driver and passenger sides. It is also extremely difficult to make it exactly even, Ididnt do it. I'm pretty OCD with stuff like that so I have to live with it. I personally think installation was difficult for what the tasks appears to be. Its a lot my fault, but I think if the slider's design was adjusted slightly it could be more easily installed. Make sure you line up everything correctly before drilling. and to be sure, before you start drilling measure the distances between holes on the slider and make sure that matches up with pen marks you make on your XJ.

These have held up great off-road, and have protected the jeep in many rocky and tight trail situations. I wish I had got these sooner! My only problem is the powder coating didn't even last 3 mo the before they started rusting "this was before off-road too". Overall, I am pleased and will buy more products for both jeeps. I wish they offered these for the Comanche too "and more products in general". -Ben

This bumper is heavy duty and well built. The receiver and d-rings are welded in very nicely. I feel very confident about towing with this bumper. I highly recommend getting the nut strips and new hardware to make installation much much easier. My rig had a stock nutstrip only on the passenger side and I broke two of those bolts while removing the stock bumper. The crusader definitely dresses up the rear of my XJ nicely. My only gripe is that no matter how adjusting and fine tuning I did the bumper ALWAYS stuck out farther past the body on the passenger than it did the driver's side. I've read on forums that this same thing has happened to others. I'm hoping the lower quarter panel armor I bought addresses this issue.

These nut strips are incredibly stout, and well built. but my only issue was that the nuts were just a little too big to fit into the hole in my frame rails. When inserting these, I had to enlarge the holes slightly to be able to slide the strips in.

I ordered the first one but it arrived defective. However I contacted the customer service reps and they were amazing! They sent me a new one and once I received it I installed it immediately. It fit and it does its job, the only complaint is it's a little loose and gives it some wiggle space.

Great product, fit well on my 99xj, clean and simple design! I ended up ordering an additional one for my flsg!
