Wrong parts, wrong hardware.
| March 11th, 2023
Was initially sent an over head rack for a gladiator/JL, contacted JCR Offroad, explained the situation, took them a while to do so. I asked them to verify the parts sent with a picture and tracking number. Tracking number was sent but no picture. Part was delivered while I was away for work, and opened the replacement part. I have the correct overhead rack, but not the correct hardware. Not world ending, I just gotta source the hardware myself now, which is fine, but if they can't accomplish a simple task like that I don't think I can trust JCR for much else.
Note From JcrOffroad: We apologize for any shipping errors with the rack and hardware. We have forwarded this review to our customer service team so they can correct the issue with your order.
Bothered, to say the least.

I bought these to go on my Dodge Ram, because I wanted to look cool. Instead, every single time I park in a public place everyone fondles my nugs. I've come back and people have them placed in their mouth, on their chin, and firmly in their hands. Please make them less....appealing.
Chicken Nuggets
(Yazoo City, Mississippi) | September 1st, 2022
Don't be fooled, these chicken nuggets are real and will go bad if left on the back of your vehicle. JcrOffroad advertises these to be "Truck-Nugs" but in all reality they are simply chicken nuggets on a chain. Tried to return but was told I was not eligible, their Customer Service was very rude and told me I should have refrigerated them and that is why they went bad. I wont be buying anything else from JcrOffroad in the future after this terrible experience, all I was left with was rotten chicken nuggets on a chain.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
| September 1st, 2022
I haven't purchased these but you can tell just from the picture they aren't real nugs... The breading is all wrong it isn't even close. Don't waste your time or money on this one. This company has really gone down hill :(
2DR Hardtop Install Issues
(Pennsylvania) | June 5th, 2022
I’ve got this for the 2DR hard top because I love the idea, but the execution is really difficult. This really only works for the soft top where you can move the top around as the bottom mounting points hold the hard top on. You really can’t get your hand in there to get this together with the hard top on. An install video could be great if I’m missing something, but I might need to sell this to a friend with a two door soft top.
Note From JcrOffroad: You would need to use a shorter ratchet, or extension with a swivel. Its slightly inconvenient with the hard top, but not impossible. Let us know if we can help any further.
Good idea, poor execution
(GA) | September 2nd, 2020
This is the first ever JCR part that I've given a clearly negative review but for good reason. The bolts are too short, basically unusable. They will work if you are mounting something paper thin but if you try to mount anything thicker like a 1/4" or 3/16" thickness then the bolts will "appear" to work but are NOT safe. What I mean is they will thread in but they will only catch 1 or 2 threads. You only get about a turn or turn and a half out of them. I believe they are 1/4"-20 so you can easily use the base plates with a longer bolt from hardware store. This is worrisome for people who arent real competent in the shop. I can see Joe Schmoe following the directions thinking hes good then having his hi-lift jack or rooftop tent come flying off the first time he stops hard. Just be smart about using these. Other than length, the bases work perfectly in the slotted rails.
Note From JcrOffroad: Thanks for the review. These bolts are designed for the accessories we well, which are .120 to .188 thick. Any thicker plates would need longer hardware. Sorry for any confusion.
