Very easy to assemble is one of the big advantages of this product. Fit and looks good on the jeep. Will fit a warn 9.5ti winch easily and not rub the front grille. When it's time to weld it, it's very easy to make the edges smooth for a good finish. The instruction are very well explained. I only had one question that I called them about and they help me resolve the problem I had. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a diy xj bumper.
This bumper is easy to build, looks great and seems to be very strong. The only concern I had with the bumper is the instructions stated the d rings should have had 3/8" sticking inside the bumper after taping them in from inside but when I stuck them in they fell all the way through. They did get some extra welding because of this. I hope they hold. I'm rating this a four only because of this. If you can weld don't be afraid to buy this.
Well, what can I say. Total BADASS! The parts are very well machined. The instructions very clear and the setup and welding straightforward. I added a couple tie-in angle brackets to the front along will a custom "bull bar". Let me tell ya, the BEST investment I made so far! This should always be your first upgrade. I installed a Harbor Freight "Badlands" 12K winch. I have been stuck several times and this bumper has always bailed me out along with some of my other wheeling buddies. Just buy it! You will not be disappointed. .
Love the product! Went together easily and looks great! It gets compliments all the time. Can't beat the price either. Great product overall!.
This bumper is awesome. the instructions were very easy to follow and it fits nice and snug against the body of the jeep. It also looks tuff and feels super strong. my only complaint is that it should come with the steering box spacer, even if the price goes up. ofcourse the stock one broke when I undid the bolts. it would have saved me the time waiting for the new one to arrive considering I live in Canada. I still give this 5 out of 5 for quality and craftsmanship, definetly recommend this if you have the skills to weld. thanks JCR!!.
