Rest assured, the racks are still made in Kalamazoo, MI. They are still the same material thickness. They still come powder coated. They still include stainless hardware. And yes, they still ship for free to the lower 48.

“How can they be less expensive?” you ask.

Simply put, by tightening our lean manufacturing processes, we’ve reduced production waste.

We’ve also redesigned the side rails of our full-length racks into a modular format. Breaking them into sections makes them easier to manufacture and handle, plus they ship more cost-effectively. It also means far fewer racks get damaged in transit, saving everyone time and frustration.

Those changes allow us to lower our costs without compromising our standards. So, we’re passing the savings on to you.
