Q David Stuart • 07/06/2020, 6:22:57 PM Could you tell me the dimensions of this skid and whether it will work with a 2014 Wrangler? I installed your Stubby bumper and need a skid plate. Looks like this one should work since it seems to attach to the original bumper frame.

I have been searching for a long time to find a chin skid plate to match up to my non-JCR aftermarket bumper on my Gladiator. In looking at the pictures on the JCR website this one appeared to fit okay and I took a chance on it. When it arrived I found that it fit perfectly and blends easily to my bumper with only the smallest gap that isn't visible anyway. It installed easily in about 20 minutes and really adds to my Gladiator.

Very very sturdy. Install took maybe 20 minutes solo. Easy fit with my non-jcr aftermarket steel bumper that didn’t have a matching skid plate. A little hard to get bolted in, trying to figure out what bit to use and reaching through the holes but I’m also still pretty new to doing mods myself.
