Q Ray • 10/04/2020, 9:06:29 PM The plastic cover is mostly held to the hatch with plastic clips. I do not see that this molle panel will be able to hold much of anything. Will you be modifying it to attach through the plastic panel directly to the metal of the hatch?

A 10/18/2021, 4:23:47 PM Correct, it would vary depending on the condition of the hatch struts. We recommend lighter gear (MOLLE pouches, first aid kits, flashlights, etc.)

Great workmanship and perfect fit. Mounted my small shovel to it and will use it to attach magnetic hooks for hanging kitchen gear while cooking when camping. Also great to attach magnetic LED lantern to it. I'm sure I will find other uses for it. Overlanding XJ owners or XJ owners that just need more ways to tie down gear will love it.

All I can say is JCR Rocks, I purchased this and the rest of the molle panels for the xj and I love it, great design, easy to install and they look great in the Jeep! I would recommend all the molle panels to all the XJ owners it will definitely organize the back of your Jeep and make it look great...
