This weld-it-yourself bumper kit is CNC cut from heavy-duty 3/16" steel and designed specifically for 1993–1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ models. Major components arrive flat pack and ready for assembly, making it ideal for experienced builders, home fabricators, or anyone looking for a cost-effective path to a strong, trail-ready front winch bumper.

Can a high lift jack be used on this or should a t cut be installed to use one ? If a cut should be done were would a ideal spot be done ?

Got this bumper kit a couple years ago. Quick shipping right to my door. Excellent fit of all weld edges makes getting a perfect weld penetration. Finished all exterior welds with flap discs. Primed and finished with two coats of bed liner spray. Drop a winch on and go hit the trails.

The DIY was great. Easy to assemble and weld it's an amazing look. I would buy it again. Only wish is that jcr would make a rear bumper kit.

I bought the first production kit made for the Jeep ZJ and it was worth every penny. I get compliments on the bumper &40;and my Jeep&41; regularly and recommend JCR and their products to all the Jeepers I come across.
