Q Cody • 04/03/2020, 9:32:33 PM Does this work with a soft top?
A 04/06/2020, 12:19:28 PM Yes it does.
Q Rick Mansfield • 04/17/2020, 11:34:17 AM I'm planning on getting the overhead MOLLE panel to use for mounting a CB. I'd be really interested in knowing strategies for running the power and antenna cables. I can't tell how it's done from the photo. Obviously, I don't want cables hanging down from the panel itself.
A 04/17/2020, 7:59:06 PM Zip ties on top of the panel work great to hide wires.
Q John Attard • 04/18/2020, 4:51:24 PM Will this work with a soft top also I don’t wanna feel like on lock down to one top or the future purchase of a best top Sunrider.
A 04/20/2020, 2:14:51 PM Works great with a soft top as well.
Q Scott wittmann • 06/26/2020, 7:24:40 PM Will the overhead MOLLE panel work with the Bestop sun rider for hard top?
A 09/24/2020, 10:28:08 AM Yes, but modification to the rear plastic clamp on the Bestop Sunrider is required. Please see our install document for more info.
Q Niko Vahamaki • 07/02/2020, 8:03:56 AM Does this mount to a 2 Door JL? I always have to ask nowadays.
A 07/07/2020, 2:10:54 PM Yes this fits a 2 door.

The JCR JL/JT Overhead MOLLE Panel is a very sturdy, well built mod for my JL. I have a Midland 40W GMRS radio mounted to it, as well as a flashlight and Maxpedition pouches to store various items. I also have a Bestop Sunrider top, and has to cut the rear bracket as detailed in the instructions. Not a hard install, and worth the money.

Very nice, sturdy, & durable overhead panel. Practically and nice looking. Good product development and easy install.

I use this all the time. I was concerned before I got it that it might crowd the cab area but it turns out that I don't even notice it is there. I have a magnetic flashlight right at hand, put my masks on top of it, have the ham radios clipped to it. Very sturdy. One of the best add-ons I have purchased.

Great panel. Love it. But be careful. I broke the clops that held the dome light in. Had to buy a new one. Pulling down that panel and putting it back up is not as easy and simple as the install video suggests.

I feel that these units should come with a bunch of bananas or a coupon for a Jimmy Johns sub sandwich. Or, better instructions. Whichever is more simple to accommodate.
Note From JcrOffroad: An install video and a serving suggestion is the best we can do. Thanks for the review :)

Smooth install, durable and strong, and performs great!

Went in with ease. Only word of caution is this does not work with burgers as much as it does for sub style sandwiches. So just keep that in mind when you’re planning out your trail ride.

Great product. Perfect fit in the perfect location. Installation was a bit more difficult than the instructions showed; the sound bar light facia did not pop off and drop as shown but was able to be moved enough to put the panel into place; similar issue with gaining enough access for drilling the front 2 bolt holes.

A friend and I installed this yesterday. One of the corners that connects to the roll bar came bent, but we were able to bend it back into place with a wrench. Install videos always make the process look easier than it is. We had lots of trouble getting the panel disconnected above the front seats because there are 6 or 8 clips holding it on. And I can't get the middle screw back in, though I've not given up (it's definitely not going anywhere though). Anyway, I'm very glad I purchased this and give it five stars based on the final result, not the damage from shipping or the install process that took longer than what I thought it would. I plan to mount a CB to the panel as well as a small bag that holds my wired winch remote.

The directions were good, and the rack is solid and very good quality. It went in nicely, looks and feels great and holds plenty of things solid. Definitely worth the money.
