First I want to say this item is built well, it utilizes a heavier aluminum than is required, it is stout. Fit and finish of the item is excellent... 5 Stars for that. 3 Stars to the designer that missed the mark for not allowing for through hole to access mounting location for a T25 Torx bit. My complaint is the way the mounting location bolts are blind to any tool. it would be a very easy thing to add a through hole for access with a T25 to tighten the mounting bolts and the loss of MOLLE pattern would not even be noticed. Part of the issue is that the screws in the Jeep and at an angle and that adds a very very very low challenge to fix and make this item so much easier to install. The other issue I have is that the nuts are not self-locking nuts, the are serrated and will likely be fine, however I will personally change them out for self-locking in the future.
My last complaint is that I was expecting huge mileage gain off of this item and sadly is was minimal at best. LOL
All-in-all this is a good product, and definitely sturdy. Just my end user feedback. I am happy with the purchase and will be making more purchases in the future undoubtedly. Thank you to the team at JCR Offroad
