Q Patrick James • 01/04/2023, 11:10:24 AM If this is mounted on the stock tire carrier with no other modifications will a mounted antenna clear a stock badlands 33inch tire or will I need a wheel spacer?
A 01/10/2023, 12:46:16 PM Should clear just fine.
Q Joshua Allen • 01/07/2023, 10:20:38 AM Will this antenna mount work with a WeeBoost Cell Phone Booster?
A 01/10/2023, 12:55:51 PM Technically the RV and Overland style antenna from them will mount to this, but we aren't sure how effective it will be in this position on the vehicle.
Q J. T. • 01/27/2023, 9:29:02 PM Is the spare tire moved away from the swing gate? It appears to be further out than stock. The spacers aren't touching in the photo.
A 01/30/2023, 4:19:30 PM The wheel offset is what is causing this.
Q Lee Stahl • 02/09/2023, 0:02:53 AM Can this be used to mount a quick release for a safety flag?
A 02/14/2023, 4:48:44 PM Sure.
Q Lee Stahl • 02/13/2023, 11:11:44 PM Will this hold up to mounting a whip safety flag? The safety flags are longer and have the flag at the end, so i assume the stress on the mount will be greater.
A 02/14/2023, 4:48:44 PM Should be fine just keep an eye on the mount for any bending depenting on your flag length.
Q Jeff • 02/16/2023, 9:15:07 AM Is the hole big enough for a NMO antenna mount?
A 02/23/2023, 1:50:18 PM The hole is .500". Procom (and others) makes a mount (part MSM38S-17LPL) that should work for a .500" hole.
Q Chris • 02/16/2023, 6:54:55 PM Any links for options on how to thread the CB co-ax to the front seat?
A 02/23/2023, 1:50:18 PM No recommendations on that, sorry.
Q William Klos • 02/16/2023, 7:57:13 PM What's the size of the antenna hole?
A 02/23/2023, 1:50:18 PM .500"
Q DAVE • 02/19/2023, 2:51:50 AM Do you make this bracket to fit either side? I have two antennas that I need to mount and I need a bracket for both sides of the tire carrier
A 02/23/2023, 1:50:18 PM We only make a passenger side mount, sorry.

Well made and looks good but unfortunately doesn't work on my 23 Wildtrak, the spare sits too close to the antenna.
Note From JcrOffroad: Sorry for the confusion, Max; correct, these do not fit Wildtrak, Sasquatch, or Raptor (due to tire size).
Nate McKay (Anchorage, AK) | August 21st, 2023
This did the job, but with a little modification. You have to ruin the finish to install your antenna properly. It would have been nice if the wrinkle paint finish design had been left off of the connection for the antenna and mount allowing proper grounding. Also, the hole size did not accommodate my Midland 6DB gain antenna (MXTA26) without modifying the nylon insert of the antenna. This was no small task without a lathe. I also needed to include two washers to offset the mount to exactly between the tire in the door, making it so the antenna would not rub on the door or the tire.
Note From JcrOffroad: Thanks for the honest review, Nate. These are designed primarily for CB antennas, so as you found, they have a 1/2" hole for the antenna mount and tight clearance between the gate and tire. There are 1/2" NMO mounts available, however. We assume you had a 5/8" NMO mount? We apologize for the hassle, if we can help any further, please reach out: https://www.jcroffroad.com/CTUS.html
